Hershey Park to reopen on April 2: Check out family-friendly places to stay on VRBO

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Pronounced “verb-oh”, VRBO (an acronym for Vacation Rentals By Owner) has been hotter than ever as families take domestic road trips during the COVID-19 pandemic, cautiously avoiding international travel and chain hotels because of the virus.
One weekend getaway idea is Hershey Park in Pennsylvania, which has announced April 2 as its start date for the amusement park’s 115th season. According to a press release, Hershey Park will be open most weekends in April and May with daily operations from Memorial Day to Labor Day followed by September weekends.
