Herman: State senator seeks to clarify who's a native Texan and who isn't
Because we don’t already have enough ways to slice and dice and delineate and divide us, a state senator is pushing a measure that will, once and for all, define who’s a native Texan and who’s not.

So now comes Sen. Drew Springer, R-Muenster, with Senate Concurrent Resolution 28, filed Thursday, the penultimate day for filing legislation in this, the 87th Texas Legislature, the one in which Springer decided it’s time to define native Texan.
