A black AFL star and his former Collingwood teammate have traded online insults after he was accused of inventing his own racist nickname.
Former Magpies player Simon Buckley said Brazilian-born Heritier Lumumba never complained about his nickname 'Chimp' when he was 'winning flags and getting a kick himself'.
Buckley, who is indigenous and played 26 games with the team, posted comments on a Facebook page belonging to former AFL player Shae McNamara.
