More than 500 college students participated in the Heritage Walk at Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) to encourage first-time voters to exercise their right to vote. The event aimed to educate young participants about the rich cultural heritage of Punjab and the importance of voting rights. PAU vice-chancellor and other officials flagged off the event, urging young voters to participate actively in elections without fear or greed. Young voters were also administered an oath for ethical voting during the walk.
