When restaurants shut their doors in 2020 due to the lockdown, people craved for their Aloo Tikki burgers and Piri Piri fries. The convenience of filling one’s stomach with a Happy Meal of Rs 100 seemed like a distant dream. So, when the government eased restrictions and QSRs opened their doors, McDonald’s had to return stronger and savvier. Customers had to be served their favourite fast food, but now with extra care.
