With it being Inauguration week, we've been chatting about the struggle of moving around the office. When I was apartment hunting in late 2019 it was beyond stressful. I was convinced I wouldn't be able to afford anything halfway decent. It seems like whenever I found something within budget it was for seniors only or I made too much money to qualify.
I got lucky thanks to watching Craigslist like a hawk and messaging about the listing that became home almost as soon as it was posted.
With money tighter for folks than ever, I was curious what the rental market looked like currently. I also knew from my hunt just over a year ago that $1,000 can do a lot or very little depending on where you want to live.
