Herbert L. "Buddy" Cannon of Georgetown, departed this life on Monday, Dec. 7, 2020, at home with his loving family by his side.
 
Born May 11, 1935, to James and Erma Duke Cannon of Hickman County. Buddy served our country in the Air Force and Army during the Korean War.
 
He was a faithful member of The Church Of God Prophecy — pastoring local churches at Spring Place and Durkee Road. He pastored  Church of God Prophecy churches for over 40 years and later in life pastoring and serving as general overseer for The Church of God. He had a great love for the church and especially the youth work. He worked many years in the youth camp. He also worked as a juvenile officer for Bradley County.
