Hendersonville man, woman charged with meth trafficking offenses after vehicle stop by Sheriff's Office

On Wednesday, Feb. 3, members of the Henderson County Sheriff’s Office Crime Suppression Unit conducted a saturated patrol of a known-high crime area in the Clear Creek community, the Sheriff's Office said in a news release.
Officers saw a vehicle on the roadway with a fictitious license plate. When they stopped the vehicle, officers saw drug paraphernalia and narcotics inside, the release states.
A search of the vehicle revealed numerous individual bags of methamphetamine, digital scales and $5,822 in cash, according to the release.
