'Cheetah' spotted in SW Portland turns out to be stuffed, MCSO says

PORTLAND, Ore. –After neighbors reported what looked like a cheetah in Portland’s West Hills on Friday morning, Multnomah County sheriff’s deputies went out to see if they could spot the big cat for themselves.
Oregon is cougar country, and the sheriff's office said it is not uncommon to see big cats in the area. Just last week, someone caught a cougar on surveillance camera near Forest Park.
A cheetah, however, is a different sighting altogether.
After confirming that the Oregon Zoo’s cats were all accounted for, MCSO Deputy Sullivan approached the “animal.”
