SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - Good morning and happy Wednesday! We continue to track heavy rain that will be moving into the region later on this morning and will continue throughout the afternoon and into the evening hours across the ArkLaTex. Some of this rain will be heavy at times as the cold front moves through the region. Behind the cold front we are expecting much colder temperatures as we move through the rest of the week and weekend. This weekend is still expected to be very chilly with high temperatures in the 40s, but all eyes continue to be on Sunday and Monday. A developing area of low pressure to our south will give the region some potential wintry precipitation Sunday afternoon through early Monday. There is still a lot of uncertainty, but there is growing likelihood that at least someone in the ArkLaTex will see some snow.
