Mexico's Juan Pedro Franco, the heaviest man in the world billed at almost 600 kgs (1300 pounds) has been successfully operated upon by surgeon Jose Castadena. The gastric bypass surgery was successfully undertaken according to his doctors in Mexico.
The surgical procedure conducted on Juan Pedro Franco is expected to reduce his weight by half and will most probably be followed up by another surgery, according to his surgeon Jose Castadena.
