The incoming chief executive of an NHS trust was at the centre of a probe today amid claims he faked his masters law degree.
Mason Fitzgerald said he held a Master of Laws (LLM) from the University of Georgia in the US in annual reports submitted to parliament.
But the university has since claimed Mr Fitzgerald never graduated.
The Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust (NSFT), which is currently in special measures, revealed a review has begun and Mr Fitzgerald told the BBC he could not comment while the inquiry was ongoing.
