He's back in Boston! Gronk returns to donate money for great cause

Rob Gronkowski returned to New England Friday for a special cause.
The former New England Patriots star presented a donation of $1.2 million from the Gronk Nation Youth Foundation for a full renovation of the Charlesbank Playground located in the Charles River Reservation Esplanade. Sign up for our Newsletters
The generous donation was printed on an equally large check, which he jokingly called a "Happy Gilmore check."
"No matter where I go or where I live, I will always have a special connection to New England and the people who live here," said Gronk, who explained that he'd been planning the donation for more than 18 months.
