Welcome to Fursday on The Brew. At 12.10 we’ll have more ‘made in Hong Kong’ music, today with gig producer and musician Dave Wilkinson. As always, all the tracks you’ll hear in the first half hour will be by our wonderful local bands and artists. Today they’ll have a folky feel, as Dave wants to invite you to the upcoming Yung Shue Wan Folk Festival. Brew-Vet Dr. David Gething will be back to answer your furry questions at 12.40. Do get in touch with any questions… and stuff. At 1.30 today we’ll meet the amazing young Canadian pianist Tony Siqi Yun. He first came into the limelight after winning the First Prize and Gold Medal at the inaugural China International Music Competition in 2019, and he’s giving a recital tonight at City Hall. email phil@rthk.hk or find us on Facebook
