Early election voting on the table as state officials target Connecticut's restrictive voting rules – Hartford Courant

Connecticut is one of a small number of states that do not allow for early voting in elections, according to the National Conference of State Legislatures. Current and former state officials stumped to change that by backing a constitutional amendment on the steps of the Capitol in Hartford on Thursday.
