Hazleton 'Food Trail' looks to boost struggling restaurants

Restaurants of the Hazleton area are getting an early Christmas present — more business traffic.
The Greater Hazleton Recovery and Resiliency Task Force is using five Food Trail Passports established through county CARES Act grant funding as a framework for a new contest.
Having started Friday, participating restaurants will be featured in the Standard-Speaker and on the Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce Facebook Page. To enter, participants must “like” the Chamber’s Facebook post, and share it to their own timeline with a comment that mentions one or more of the restaurants featured on the food trails along with the hashtag #HazletonFoodTrails.
