Hawaii Island police identify victim killed in Kona shooting

HONOLULU, Hawaii (HawaiiNewsNow) - Hawaii Island police have identified the man who was shot and killed in Kona on Tuesday.
Officials identified the victim as 46-year-old Joey Richmond.
Police said they found his body at around 9:30 p.m. on Keauhou Kainaliu Beach Road, also known as “End of the World.”
HPD said Richmond was transported to the Hilo Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
Authorities said they scheduled an autopsy to determine the exact cause of death.
So far, no arrests have been made.
