With help from his parents, senior Toalii Brown stood proudly on stage as classmates and the staff of Victor Valley High School cheered him on during the school’s drive-thru graduation celebration.
Brown was one of nearly 350 seniors who graduated during Thursday’s ceremony, which the school held in front of the campus' new administrative building in Victorville.
The 19-year-old Brown, who has special needs, said he was overwhelmed with joy to graduate with his class, the 105th in the school’s history, according to Rani Ortega, secretary to VVHS Principal Nancy Noyer.
