Hampton Police search for bank robbery suspect accused of passing note to steal money

HAMPTON, Va. - Police were looking for the publicâs help in identifying the suspect in connection with a bank robbery that happened last week.
Around 9:30 a.m., Public Safety Communications got a call about a bank robbery at the Bayport Credit Union located in the 1100 block of Big Bethel Road. The investigation revealed that the suspect entered the business and passed a note implying a firearm and demanding money.
Police said after the suspect got money, the person fled the scene in a vehicle.
