HAMDEN — Officers broke up a fight involving dozens of teenagers at Funz Trampoline Park on Dixwell Avenue Saturday night and are investigating alleged pandemic safety violations, according to police.
Mayor Curt Leng said Monday he was “disappointed” to learn the trampoline park appeared to have violated sector rules.
“We’re at a time right now where it’s essential for everyone in the community, including the business community, to really do their part in helping us to combat this pandemic head-on,” he said. “We’re not out of the woods yet by any means and really need to be more vigilant than ever while we make sure that the population gets vaccinated.”
