The filming of a new movie starring Halle Berry shut down part of Plainville on Monday.
At one point, a caravan of black SUVs and other vehicles were seen speeding down South Street. Crew members were also seen outside of Don's Diner, which is also located along South Street. Sign up for our Newsletters
"They just approached us and asked us. They wanted to film here and we agreed to it. We're excited about it," diner owner Perry Perreault said.
The family-run diner has been in Plainville since 1936, but this is the business' first movie debut.
