Over half of all Ontario Royal Canadian Legion branches have received a portion of a $14-million federal aid package approved in early November.
In total, over $7.2 million has been handed out to 701 branches across Canada “to make it through the pandemic as we continue to work together on behalf of our Veterans and their families,” said Minister of Veterans’ Affairs Lawrence McAuley in a press release.
