Laura Humphries went to Windsor Sixth Form before going on to study at Worcester University.
Laura achieved Honours in Sport and Exercise Science and the 23-year-old is now studying MSc Physiotherapy (Pre-Reg) at the University of Birmingham. She is hoping to work within the NHS as a chartered physiotherapist.
Laura said: “I am so happy and proud.”
Studying during the pandemic had been difficult but she praised the support she received.
“The challenges the pandemic has brought highlights how vital the NHS services are; of which I will be proud to be a part of,” she said.
University of Worcester Deputy Vice Chancellor and Provost, Professor Sarah Greer, said: “The class of 2020 faced some unique challenges in completing their final year, in very difficult external circumstances. Our students who earned a First Class Honours should rightly feel very proud of their outstanding achievements and I wish them all the very best in their future careers.”
