‘Had an offer’: £4.4m Celtic man says he rejected Tottenham and St James’ Park move

Departing Celtic icon Scott Brown has revealed that he once rejected opportunities to join Tottenham and Newcastle.
The 35-year-old recently experienced his last game at Celtic Park, as he gets set to leave the Scottish giants who he joined in 2007.
Brown will undoubtedly go down as a Celtic legend.
However, things could’ve been very different.

Speaking to Sky Sports, Brown said: “I had an offer from Spurs, from Harry Redknapp, but it was too soon for myself. I think I wanted to come to Celtic, I wanted to enjoy it.
