HACKENSACK, NJ - The Hackensack Police Department announced the arrest of Vincent Lee of San Francisco, CA, after stopping him with approximately 128 pounds of marijuana in a vehicle.
Narcotics Bureau Detectives Sergio Raneli and Nart Marza observed Lee fail to use the turn signal of the 2019 Chrysler Pacifica he was driving on Tuesday, March 9 at 12:47pm, according Hackensack Detective Captain Darrin DeWitt A vehicle stop was conducted on Route 80 East and Lee was unable to provide any paperwork for the Chrysler, a rental car. Lee also told detectives that he didn't know who rented the vehicle and said he didn't know what was inside eight large cardboard boxes that detectives saw inside the minivan. An investigation found that the cardboard boxes were filled with marijuana in vacuum sealed bags and that Lee is a reputed member of a Chinese transnational organized crime syndicate.
