H-1B visa: India asks US to make domestic H-1B visa renewals permanent, ease visas for traders & investors

India has asked the US to simpliy procedures and fast-track processing for timely visas. India also urged the US to establish a permanent system for H-1B visa renewal and address challenges faced by domestic businesses. A pilot program for H-1B visa renewal within the US is set to begin, excluding dependents.
