Gypsum's Brightwater development sold to Aspen-based developer

After years and a troubled past, the Brightwater property up Gypsum Creek has been sold. The Gypsum Town Council in the late 1990s annexed and approved the project. The initial approval was for 535 home lots, an 18-hole private golf course and other amenities, including a restaurant.
