Gyanvapi mosque: SC allows cleaning of water tank in Gyanvapi mosque complex in Varanasi

The Supreme Court has allowed a plea by Hindu women plaintiffs for cleaning the water tank in the Gyanvapi mosque in Varanasi, which is sealed. The court ordered the cleaning under the supervision of the Varanasi district magistrate. The court also noted a similar plea filed by the Anjuman Intezamia Masjid Committee.
