Jeff "Gussy" Gustafson came up just short on Day 3 of the 2021 Guaranteed Rate Bassmaster Elite Event at Lake Champlain, New York.
Gustafson reeled in a total of 5 fish on Day 3 weighing 16 pounds and 1 ounce for a three-day total of 15 fish for 56 pounds 1 ounce, which left him out of the top ten and is not able to fish on the final day of competition tomorrow.
Overall he finished the tournament in 14th place.
Gussy came into Day 3 in 5th place after a great haul on Day 2 of 5 fish for 19 pounds 13 ounces.
