Guinea Warns Not to Mix Vaccines as Sputnik Shots Face Delay

(Bloomberg) -- The Guinean government warned people who took a first shot of the Sputnik V vaccine not to take another type of vaccine as a second dose, even as a shipment from the Russian manufacturer faces a delay.
“Logistical issues caused the delay,” the National Health Security Agency said in a statement Tuesday. Those affected will be prioritized when a new batch of Sputnik V vaccines arrives to ensure they get a second dose within 21 days of their first shot, it said.
