And eliminating Oregon cities’ single-family neighborhoods will remediate racial exclusion in housing and make housing more affordable.
Most Eugeneans know the first two claims are absurd. Unfortunately, a disturbing number of city officials and “woke” housing advocates have fallen for the third, patently false claim. Anyone interested in the truth can confirm that all three claims are false simply by looking at the compelling evidence — the certified vote tallies, the COVID-19 death toll and, for the third false claim, the census data and the documented detrimental impacts experienced by low-income households where their single-family neighborhoods have been radically upzoned.
