The
Film Office of the Central Macedonia Region recently presented the new prospects created by its distinctive identity as a filming destination, during
Romania’s Film O’ Clock International Festival online event.
Representatives of the Greek region’s Film Office took part in two meetings held between professionals of the audiovisual sector and relevant organizations from five countries
(Lithuania, Romania, Greece, Egypt and
South Africa).
“We use the tools provided by our Film Office to boost region’s competitiveness in the field of audiovisual productions,” Central Macedonia Deputy Governor responsible for tourism,
Alexandros Thanos, said.
Established in 2020, the region’s Film Office also aims to promote the area’s rich history, cultural identity and unique filming destinations.
