This extension and re-work of a Victorian family home connects the interiors to a park at its rear
The brief for this scheme by Gruff Architects in south London was for an extension that allowed a family of five to eat, work and relax together.

While the front of the house faces a noisy dual carriageway, at its rear lies Deptford Park in close proximity, and Gruff's proposal was to open up and connect the life of the house out to the outdoors and nature behind.
