Group offers virtual tour of Harlem

BENNINGTON — The Bennington Branch of AAUW invites the public to join a virtual walk through both African American Harlem and Spanish Harlem on Saturday, Jan. 23, starting at 1:30 p.m. The tour will include about 50 minutes of slides with live commentary. The tour will stop at the places where accomplished women, ranging from iconic to not so familiar, are honored. Stops include named buildings, murals and mosaics, statues, plaques on the sidewalk, and commemorative street corners.
