Griha Pravesh ceremony: Assam government performed Griha Pravesh ceremony for 3 lakh people under Prime Minister Awas Yojana

Assam's Chief Minister, Himanta Biswa Sarma, announced on Thursday the completion of the home entrance ceremony for three lakh beneficiaries of the Prime Minister Awas Yojana (Grameen), and revealed that construction of an extra six lakh houses will be completed by February 2024. The state government aims to complete a total of 19,10,823 houses under the scheme, with beneficiaries selected based on socio-economic caste census.
