NEW DELHI: Ten days after filing an FIR in connection with a controversial document tweeted by Swedish environmental activist Greta Thunberg, the Delhi Police's cyber cell made the first arrest in the case from Bengaluru.
The accused has been identified as Disha Ravi (21), a climate activist. Ravi is also one of the initial members of a climate related campaign named "Fridays for Future".
Ravi is allegedly involved in editing and forwarding the "Toolkit" related to farmers', protest in Delhi.
She has been booked under IPC sections pertaining to sedition, hatching a criminal conspiracy and promotion of enmity amongst groups.
The cops had earlier said that the prove aimed to ascertain the identity of creators of the "Toolkit" detailing plans to create disruption in the capital through January and February.
