NEW GLARUS, Wis. — Businesses in Greene County are responding to new COVID-19 guidance while making sure both customers and employees feel safe.
According to Steve Longo, owner of Tofflers Pub and Grill, the transition out of CDC precautions has not been easy.
“Everyday, people want to argue with you. That has definitely lightened up in recent months,” said Longo. “There are people who take it beyond arguments, the police have been here more than once.”
As mask mandates and social gathering limits are lifted, costumers say they are excited to reunite but concerned about who is, and who isn’t, vaccinated.
