Green buffer zones to be set up around MHNP

Islamabad : The climate change ministry would set up Green Buffer Zones around Margalla Hills National Park (MHNP) where no housing society would be allowed to carry out construction work by removing the green cover of the area.
According to the details, the ministry has received reports that pointed out that the green cover around MHNP is severely under attack by the housing societies that are mushrooming with each passing day.
The ministry has also decided to raise this issue in the Housing Committee that is chaired by Prime Ministry Imran Khan.
