GREATER NOIDA: A 50-year-old advocate died after he was allegedly shot dead by two bike-borne assailants in Greater Noida on Thursday. He was headed to the Dadri tehsil to meet a client when the crime took place.
According to police, the advocate has been identified as Fateh Mohammad Khan, a resident of Greater Noida. “Khan had property disputes with several people, and this could be the motive behind the crime,” a police officer said.
Sujeet Upadhyaya, SHO of Sector Beta 2 police station, said Khan had planned to meet a client at Dadri tehsil around 10am on Thursday. The tehsil is barely 100 metres away from Khan’s house.
