Grande Prairie Regional College will embark on a journey to polytechnic school status, not the university path laid out by the previous NDP government.
“I am pleased to say that this decision was made in collaboration with college and student leaders, and through extensive feedback, it gives me great pleasure to announce that GPRC will become a polytechnic institution,” Minister of Advanced Education Demetrios Nicolaides said.
