Grand Prairie Library hires a social worker to help residents: ‘Our job is more than just offering books’

Grand Prairie’s libraries are not just about books and free computer time.
The library system recently made a first-in-its-history hire: a social worker who will help people get the help they need, something particularly important during the COVID-19 pandemic.
