Grand Forks, Altru move to consolidate COVID-19 vaccine distribution
Grand Forks city leaders asked the North Dakota Department of Health to send all of the COVID-19 vaccines allocated for providers in the city to go exclusively to Grand Forks Public Health and Altru Health System. State public health administrators agreed to do so, which means a consolidated mass vaccination system in city limits.

A new distribution plan in Grand Forks will consolidate COVID-19 vaccine doses administered in the city to a single location, a move city leaders say will make mass vaccinations simpler for residents but one that has upset staff at a distribution site that was previously set to administer the vaccine.
