Grand Designs NZ 'treehouse' on Waiheke Island is on the market

The Oneroa "treehouse" build on Waiheke Island was one of the more strenuous projects to feature on Grand Designs NZ. But the view made it all worth while.
It was an uphill battle to build this ‘treehouse’ on Waiheke Island – literally. And
Grand Designs NZ filmed it, pretty much every step of the way as the builders lugged timber up a 100m slippery slope.
The project was Robyn and David Shea’s dream holiday home, with a dream view. But now, just over three years after the show aired, the family is selling up to concentrate on their “full-on” business in Tauranga.
