Gov’t thanks ‘gracious’ India PM, as 40,000 vaccines arrive—after letter from Dr Rowley
The following is a press statement from the Ministry of Foreign and Caricom Affairs:
On Tuesday 13 April 2021, 40,000 doses of Oxford/AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccines arrived in Trinidad and Tobago. This was as a result of the gracious response from the Honourable Narendra Modi, prime minister of the Republic of India, to a letter sent by Dr the Honourable Keith Rowley, prime minister of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago on 23 February 2021.
