Govt officials vow to uphold dignity of Bangabandhu

BCS cadres under the banner of Government Officials Forum hold a rally at Bangabandhu International Conference Center (BICC) in the capital on Saturday, protesting the vandalism of Bangabandhu’s sculpture. — SUN PHOTO
Government officials on Saturday pledged not to allow any kind of insult and disrespect towards Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
Officials of all BCS cadres made this pledge through programmes across the country, including in Dhaka. Non-cadre officials were also present at the rally.
The rally was held at Bangabandhu International Conference Center (BICC) in the capital’s Sher-e-Bangla Nagar under the banner of Government Officials’ Forum.
