Gov. Phil Scott takes stance against forecasted property tax hike

In a letter sent on Thursday, state tax officials said they estimate an 18.5% rise in Vermont property taxes. But Scott said that kind of tax hike would be unacceptable and said he's prioritizing bringing down the costs.
