HERE. MATT: WE CERTAINLY COULD. GOVERNOR BAKER HAS PRAISED THE CHANGE IN CDC MASK GUIDANCE. BUT, SO FAR, HE HAS NOT MADE ANY CHANGES TO INDOOR RULES MASSACHUSETT LAST WEEK, THE CDC ANNOUNCED THAT PEOPLE WHO ARE FULLY VACCINATED DID NOT NEED TO WEAR MASKS, INDOORS OR OUTDOORS. THERE ARE SOME EXCEPTIONS, LIKE ON MASS TRANSIT. THAT CAUSED A NUMBER OF STATES TO CHANGE THEIR OWN MASK RULES, BUT NOT A MASSACHUSETTS. -- IN MASSACHUSETTS. THE GOVERNOR PROMISED AN UPDATE ON REOPENING PLANS EARLY THIS WEEK. WE ASKED A LOCAL EXPERT, WHO SAYS THIS DECISION ISN’T AS EASY AS IT MAY SEEM. >> IN THIS CASE, THE SCIENCE SAYS YOU CAN DO WHATEVER YOU USED TO DO IF YOU ARE VACCINATED BUT THE LOGISTICS ARE NOT QUITE SO SIMPLE BECAUSE YOU CAN’T TELL BY LOOKING AT SOMEONE WHETHER THEY’RE VACCINATED OR NOT.
