CREATED TO CELEBRATE THE LIFE OF AVERY REINE CANTOR, AAF EXISTS TO PREVENT YOUTH SUICIDE THROUGH EDUCATION AND CREATING AWARENESS.
This is part of a podcast series by Judi Diamond "Affliction of Addiction". This is not about addiction, but mental health. However if you've been able to listen to the series, you may have notice most substance abusers actually are self-medicating due in large part to emotional and mental struggles.
Avery Reine Cantor took her own life at just 17. Kennedy Brown, her best friend, almost took her own life months before. Kennedy is now 23 and is keeping Avery's memory alive by teaching about mental awareness and suicide prevention.
