Gone but never forgotten: Aspen Fire honors former assistant chief with headstone ceremony

Members of the Aspen Fire Department gathered Monday to pay respects to one of their own. Assistant Fire Chief W.W. Cornell, who served the Aspen community in the late 1800s, was honored with a marble headstone placed at his final resting place at Red Butte Cemetery.
