A diner in Smithfield, Rhode Island has announced it is closing.
Laura’s Pleasant View Diner — located at 132 Pleasant View Avenue — issued a statement that April 11 will be its last day.
“This last decade has had many ups and downs, but none more challenging than this last year,” said the diner in a statement. “We didn’t know what it was like to have ten sudden open shifts on a Friday until this past year…this constant change has begun to alter our restaurant becoming impersonal and inconsistent.
